Presenter Profile
Hi, my name is Pam. I am a nurse from way back. I am a mother of 3 grown children and now a grandmother of 4.
I work for a Resource Center at a Las Vegas Hospital. I work under a state grant named: "The Family To Family Connection". Because this is funded by a state grant we offer our services FREE of charge.
I have been interested in American Sign Language since High School and have taken several classes of the same. Then I met my deaf friend in 1984, who has helped me with interpreting.
I first saw a news report about the Sign 2 Me program about 2-3 yrs. ago and thought this would be a good program for our families. I have been teaching ever since. Come and meet the families that have taken this class. They will tell you how it really works and how the communication between the family members has eased the stress of raising a child.
