Presenter Profile - Jan Dabroski
I am a Certified Sign Language Specialist, who has been signing for 29 years. I have received my signing experience through life experience. I have an Associates Degree in communication, I have taken the Deaf Interpreting Program, and have taught Sign Language to infants, children, and adults. I have a Deaf sister who has been my inspiration. My life experience with my sister and Deaf friends has given me first hand interaction with the Deaf community, where I have received great knowledge regarding the deaf culture and signing. I have experienced first hand the life changing impact sign language has had with my nieces, nephews, deaf friend’s children, and the children I have taught. I truly believe the benefits sign language provides. Signing and teaching is my true passion, and I want to reach out to anyone that it can help. I am very knowledgeable, experienced, and love what I do. I am excited to share this knowledge, experience, and great opportunity.

BABY SIGNING

Baby signing is a fast growing trend in our nation. This topic has been aired on Oprah, 20/20, and the Today Show. Articles have been written in USA Today and Parents Magazine. A few things these sources have shared; is how signing stimulates the babies mind, how signing develops better mental clarity and problem solving at a young age, and how signing uses both sides of the brain which contributes to higher IQ’s.

Not only will baby signing benefit your child, it will benefit you as a parent.
*You will hear less crying and experience less tantrums
*Your child will be able to direct your attention towards potential dangers, and help you and pediatricians identify injuries, pains and other elements
*You will have closer and deeper bonds
This is only a few examples of the many benefits
