What about me?
My background is in Communication with a Masters in Deaf Education. I developed a passion for education and sign language in college and pursued this interest through taking classes, volunteering and then working in a variety of settings (summer camps, childcare facilities, and schools). I have been signing for 10 years and have been a teacher for both hearing and deaf students. I am currently a Training Coordinator and teach Communication and Presentation Skills classes to professionals.
I just had a precious little girl and have already begun signing with her. I am excited about sharing my knowledge and experience to help other parents and care-givers in strengthening relationships with their children through the use of sign language.
