Early Expressions Language Development Workshops
Classes & Workshops by Sarah Edwards
I started learning American Sign Language when I met a Deaf friend at summer camp as a child. I enjoyed learning the language so much that in college I decided to study interpreter education.
After completing several years of ASL and interpreting coursework, I interned as an interpreter and assistant to a college ASL instructor for two years, and have since worked as a dorm parent and an adult education staff member at residential schools for the Deaf.
I hold an Associate in Arts degree in psychology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in liberal studies. I earned my Early Childhood Credential in North Carolina in May of 2006.
