SignSpeak
Language support & growth through American Sign Language
Course Description
Open another avenue of learning for your little one and yourself! Babies and children alike learn about themselves and their world through their senses including sight, touch, sound, and movement. Sign language is the perfect way to incorporate these senses to encourage communication and language development. Signing is also an exceptional avenue of expression for children with learning disabilities - providing them the means to communicate more readily and with less frustration. Pre-verbal children love to communicate! Come learn simple signs and proven techniques that will enable your child to express themselves to you. Presenter Profile
My name is Carol Russo and I am very excited to be a Certified Instructor in the Sign2Me Instructors Network. I have a strong background in American Sign Language (ASL), having received training in both interpreter and mentorship programs at Ulster Community College, Dutchess Community College, and Vassar University.
