Introductory workshop: 90 min presentation describing the benefits of signing with children of all ages. How and when to start, which signs to start with, fun games and books suggested. Real life accounts of families who benefited from signing with their kids.
Classes: 4 week sessions meet one hour per week. Every adult is given an information packet with reminder pictures of signs, helpful hints, a list of helpful websites and ideas for great books to read/sign with your child. Lessons are offered in three different sections covering subjects as follows:
1)First Signs,Mealtime,Bath&Body, Dealing with Diapers
2)Clothes, Bedtime, Favorite Animals,Family
3)Colors, Emotions, Playtime, Nature& weather
I hold a Master Teacher Child Development Permit and have used ASL in my curriculum for the last 3 years.
I love to see the glee in a child's eyes when they use a sign and realize you "get" what they want! I want to share that joy with others and help families to communicate in an exciting new way.

Introductory Workshops: $ 25 for 90 min of instruction and fun!
Classes: $ 50 for 4 one hour sessions.
Preschool & Elementary Teacher Workshops: $ 45 per teacher for 3 hours instruction and extensive information packet. (Minimum class size is 5; Maximum 20)
