Teaching your child to communicate through sign language

Sign Language Classes
Fingerspeak is a fun and interactive sign language class for babies and their parents. The curriculum is based on the SIGN with your BABY book by Joseph Garcia with American Sign Language (ASL) as the core content.

My background is in Special Education where I taught all of my students sign language. I saw first hand how sign language helps ease frustration when children are unable to speak. My foreign language in college was sign language as well. My hearing daughter started signing at 8 months and now at 18 months she knows many signs and has 50 plus words. She continues to sign and is starting to talk in 2-3 word sentences. I love to see how signing helps ease frustration in the the home and increase their vocabulary.
