I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Emporia State University with a Cognate in Rehabilitation Counseling. ESU was where I first learned I had a passion for Sign Language as I took classes in American Sign Language. Because of my love for Sign, I decided to complete the Educational Interpreter Certification Program in Signing Exact English from Wichita State University. I am an Independent Case Manager supporting persons with Mental Retardation/Developmental Delays. My job has required me to communicate through Sign Language. My experiences includes signing with persons from infancy to adulthood. I am currently working on my Masters in Social Work.
