Pick Me Up! Enhanced CDenhanced_cd_interface_screenshot_rgb.jpg
The Pick Me Up! Enhanced CD includes 20 audio tracks plus a variety of multimedia content, including demonstration videos, promotional videos describing Sign2Me® products for teaching signs to young hearing children and the bonus song "More".

Auto-Launch Feature
The CD is designed to automatically launch on Macintosh and PC platforms. It may take up to a minute to launch. Please wait before trying to launch it manually. The slower your computer, the longer it will take to launch the Main Menu. If your computer does not automatically launch the Pick Me Up! menu screen on your computer, try launching it manually by opening the "start.exe" file (for PCs), or the "start" file for Macintosh computers. These files should be found in the root directory of the CD.

Slow performance or video anomalies
Slower CD-ROM drives may impair the performance of the video files. To enhance performance, you may wish to copy all of the contents from the CD to your hard drive, making sure that the directory structure remains intact. In other words, copy all the files and folders from the CD and paste them into a single directory on your hard drive. You will need at least 200 MB of disk space available on the hard drive to which you are copying.

Opening Files Manually
If you are unable to launch the interface, you may still be able to listen to the bonus track "More" and/or write it to a CD, by locating the "more.mp3" file in the "Bonus Song" folder on the Enhanced CD.

The demonstration and product promotion videos are also located in the "Media" folder. You can launch these video clips individually by double-clicking on them. The videos and their corresponding filenames follow:

Software & Hardware Requirements
Because this CD is an Enhanced CD (meaning it has both audio tracks and multimedia content) it may not be accessible from computers with older CD-ROM drives or operating systems that do not recognize "multi-session" discs. Refer to your user's manual or the Web site supporting your operating system to learn more about reading multi-session discs.

Inserting the Enhanced CD in your computer CD-ROM drive will not damage the drive or CD if your CD-ROM drive is incompatible. You simply will not be able to access the multimedia content. You should still be able to play the twenty audio tracks from any CD audio player.

The CD's interface requires the Macromedia Shockwave Player to run. The Shockwave Player can be downloaded for free at
www.macromedia.com.  Playback of the video clips from the interface requires the installation of QuickTime 6 or higher. The free QuickTime Player can be downloaded at http://www.apple.com/quicktime/. Both of these players are provided on the CD.

Sign2Me® Promotional Enhanced CD
The Sign2Me® Promotional Enhanced CD includes three audio tracks plus a variety of multimedia content, including an Activity Plan for you to print from your computer, a demonstration video, and several promotional videos describing Sign2Me® products for teaching signs to young hearing children.

Opening Files Manually
If you are unable to launch the interface, you may still be able to print the activity plan by locating the "bnd.pdf" file in the "Media" folder on the CD. Viewing and printing this Activity Plan requires Adobe Acrobat Reader, which should also launch automatically from the Enhanced CD. Acrobat Reader is also available free from www.adobe.com.

The demonstration and product promotion videos are also accessible by opening the folder entitled "Media" on the Enhanced CD. In it, you will find the video files that can be viewed by double clicking them. The videos and their corresponding filenames follow:
